The 7th meeting of the EODOPEN project took place on September 7–8, 2022. The event was attended by a total of 48 representatives from 18 institutions in 12 countries, and it was hosted by the library of the University of Greifswald in northern Germany.
During the two-day meeting, in addition to the reports and joint discussions of the working groups, we heard expert presentations, such as the ones by copyright expert Jerker Rydén (Kungliga biblioteket, Sweden) and copyright and media lawyer Karol Kościński on the already implemented DSM directive and its impact on cultural heritage institutions over Europe. Konstantin Herrmann (Sächsische Landesbibliothek – Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek, Germany) gave a presentation on a national-level rights clearance project realized by German memory institutes.
